Initially this template was meant to imitate John Constable’s famous landscape paintings. But I was never satisfied with the trees and gave up and finally decided to release it as a generic landscape AOP.

If you let DAP run for about 30 000 strokes you will be able to get very detailed paintings like the forest below.
The Constable palette has a selection of colours from some of John Constable’s most famous paintings. The images below are made with the Constable palette and the original photos (found on the net) are from Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill in Suffolk where John Constable lived and made his paintings.
John Constable (11 June 1776-31 March 1837) was an English Romantic painter. Born in Suffolk, he is known principally for his landscape paintings of Dedham Vale, the area surrounding his home, now known as “Constable Country”, which he invested with an intensity of affection. (From Wikipedia.)
