Facelook – for rough portraits

Facelook-ex1I started trying to create an AOP mimicking Edvard Munch – but with little succcess. The palette colours are sampled from four of Edvard Munch’s most famous paintings – all gloomy and depressing.

Despite this I came during experimentation finally up with an AOP that proved well suited to make portraits. I have tested it on several portrait photos of both my own colleagues and famous celebrities with different hair and skin colour. So far I am satisfied with all the resulting paintings.

Rainbow – the Technicolor airbrush

Vegetables2_DAP_RainbowRainbow has a very colourful palette – hence the name Rainbow. It also has unusually soft brush strokes,  more like airbrush than ordinary brush.  This combination makes it possible for DAP to blend colours very effectively and thus create almost all kinds of colour shades.

No help files needed for this template – suitable for beginners to advanced artists, or those who have no experience in art at all.  This template will make modern renditions of good images.  Allow DAP to run and simply stop when you have the desired result.

The brushtrokes appear rather strange to start – and yet soon meld together to form quite a heavy appearance in thickness.
