Colorful AOP was made of remnants from the making of Landscape2 AOP – scanned brush strokes and color palettes which had not been used.

Andy’s Brushes 1 (Slap it Sloppy)

Textured brush strokes, solid strokes, fan brushes, shader brushes, filbert brushes and round brushes paint a thick heavy painting with depth. This is a general AOP using a variety of brushes and colors. Dry reveal is not used in this AOP to maintain a heavy painted feel.

This AOP does not try to copy any style. I’ve included 10 different palettes to work with just about any photo you can throw at it.
Large Textured brush strokes, followed by cloudy medium brush strokes and sharp detail brush strokes.

This is my Third water color AOP.
This AOP does not try to copy any style. I’ve included 10 different palettes to work with just about any photo you can throw at it.
Cloud like large brush strokes, textured medium strokes followed by sharper small brush strokes. No Dry reveal is used.

Smooth Large brush strokes, followed by sharper smaller brush strokes with a short dry reveal.

Emile Albert Gruppé (1896-1978) was an American painter born in Rochester, New York to Helen and Charles P. Gruppe. He lived the early years of his life in the Netherlands as his father Charles Paul Gruppe, painted with the Hague school of art and acted as a dealer for the Dutch painters in the US. The family returned permanently to the states around 1913 when rumblings of World War I were brewing. All of Emile’s siblings established themselves in the arts. Read more…
